Area Rug Cleaning in Apple Valley

Apple Valley Area Rug Cleaning. Wind-Season Dust Rinsed Out.

We are an Apple Valley area rug cleaning company that homeowners rely on when a rug has gone dull, gritty or spotted. We check the fiber, test the dyes on a corner and then deep clean the rug, so the dirt comes out and the colors stay. We are based in Apple Valley, minutes from most homes, and rugs are usually cleaned on the same trip as carpet cleaning. Send a photo and the rough size for a price before we start.

Twice a year, the wind fills it up

Apple Valley gets high winds in spring and again in fall. A rug near the door or under a window catches the fine dust that blows in, and it sinks to the bottom of the pile. The rug can look fine on top and still be holding a lot of grit underneath. Twice-a-year wind is a good reason to have rugs cleaned at least once a year, ideally after one of those windy stretches.

Rugs over tile and wood

Newer Apple Valley homes, like many in Jess Ranch and Sun City, have tile or wood in the main rooms with area rugs on top. Without a pad, a rug on hard floor slides, bunches and wears through faster. While the rug is up for cleaning, it is a good time to check the pad or add one. A pad also keeps grit from scratching the floor underneath.

Fibers and the ones to watch

Nylon, polyester and polypropylene rugs clean up easily. Wool takes the right temperature and products but comes out well. Viscose and other rayon rugs are the tricky ones: they can yellow, stiffen or lose their sheen if they get too wet. The label on the back tells us which you have. More on each fiber is on our main area rug cleaning page.

Pet accidents on rugs

Urine soaks through a rug fast and often reaches the floor underneath. For that, see pet stain and odor removal and tell us when you book.

How it works

  1. We check the rug material and any stains.
  2. We test the dyes so colors do not run.
  3. We pre-treat and deep clean the rug.
  4. We dry it and let you know when it is ready.

Area Rug Cleaning in Apple Valley: questions

Do you clean area rugs in Apple Valley?

Yes, anywhere in town. Most rugs are cleaned on the same visit as the carpet or tile.

How often should a rug be cleaned here?

At least once a year for most homes. Rugs at the door or with pets on them do better more often.

Will my rug colors run?

We test the dyes on a corner before cleaning the whole rug. If the dyes are not stable, we tell you first.

Can you clean a viscose rug?

Carefully, with a low-moisture approach, and the texture can still change. Send a photo of the label and we will tell you what to expect.

Do I need a rug pad on tile?

We recommend one. It stops sliding and protects both the rug and the floor.
