Water Extraction & Drying in Hesperia

Hesperia Water Damage Restoration. Call Before It Spreads.

We are a Hesperia water damage restoration company homeowners rely on when a pipe freezes and splits, a water heater fails or a monsoon storm pushes water under the door. If it is happening now, turn the water off at the main, keep clear of wet outlets and call the 24-hour line at (760) 948-7070. We extract the water from the carpet and pad, then set drying equipment on the floor and walls. We are about 20 minutes away in Apple Valley, and once the floor is dry we also do regular carpet cleaning.

Cold nights and older plumbing

December and January lows in Hesperia sit around freezing, and some winters bring snow. More than a quarter of Hesperia homes were built before 1980 (Census ACS 2024). In an older house, the pipes in exterior walls, crawl spaces and garages are the usual ones to freeze. On the coldest nights, open the cabinet doors under sinks on outside walls and let a faucet drip.

Monsoon season: outages and flash floods

Summer monsoon storms in Hesperia can knock out power and cause flash flooding. Storm water that comes in from outside picks up dirt on the way, so carpet pad it soaks usually gets replaced. If the power is out, wait until it is safe before anyone runs equipment, and tell us where the water came in when you call.

What we do when we get there

First we find where the water came from and how far it spread, including under the baseboards. Then we extract as much as we can from the carpet and pad, pull up carpet where the pad has to go, and set drying equipment. We check back until it is dry. Our main water extraction and drying page covers each step in more detail.

Owners and renters

About two out of three Hesperia homes are lived in by their owners and one in three is rented. If you rent, call your landlord too. Either one of you can call us, and we will work with whoever is at the house.

How it works

  1. You call the water emergency line.
  2. We extract the standing water from carpet and pad.
  3. We set up drying equipment for the carpet and the structure.
  4. We check back until it is dry.

Water Extraction & Drying in Hesperia: questions

Is your water line open 24 hours for Hesperia?

Yes. Call (760) 948-7070 any time for water emergencies.

A pipe burst in the garage. Is the next room at risk?

It can be. Water travels under walls and baseboards. Shut the water off, check the rooms that share a wall, and tell us what you see when you call.

The storm knocked the power out and water came in. What now?

Stay out of standing water near outlets. Move what you can off the wet floor and call. We start once it is safe to run equipment.

Will my carpet need to be replaced?

Not always. Carpet wet with clean water and dried fast often stays. Pad soaked by storm water or dirty water usually gets replaced.

How long until the room is dry?

Usually a few days with equipment running, depending on how much water there was and how long it sat. We check back until it is dry.

Can you clean the carpet after it dries?

Yes. Once everything is dry, a regular carpet cleaning takes out what the water left behind.
